CHALLENGE
E-waste is one of the most common and most under-recycled waste streams. This client needed routine and project-based e-waste recycling across thousands of locations nationwide, including Hawaii and Puerto Rico.
APPROACH
WTS coordinated collection and shipment to certified recycling facilities for proper dismantling and recycling, spanning large retail rollouts, manufacturing sites, and partner facilities, plus one-time project shipments.
RESULT
4,405,921 lbs of e-waste recycled since 2013; 1.3 million lbs through multi-store retail projects; 10,000+ printers recycled in one ongoing project, certified and compliant across every location.
